For self-pay patients working with licensed clinicians

Keep your doctor. Work with local pharmacies. Pay less for compounded medications.

Wellspring helps self-pay patients save money on compounded medications through participating state-licensed pharmacies.

$50–$100

Patients usually save $50 to $100 per month on compounded medications.

Know the pharmacy behind your prescription.

Online offers for compounded medications can be difficult to evaluate. It may be unclear whether you’re dealing with a licensed pharmacy or an unlicensed “grey market” seller.

Wellspring connects you with participating state-licensed compounding pharmacies that prepare medications for individual patients based on valid prescriptions.

  • These pharmacies are subject to state oversight and federal compounding requirements.
  • Your clinician makes prescribing decisions, and a licensed pharmacist reviews the prescription and answers questions about the medication.

How it works

1

Check your price

Tell us your medication, prescribed dose, where you live, and what you currently pay. We’ll show you a participating pharmacy option and the total quoted cost, including shipping and applicable fees, so you can compare it with your current medication supply.

2

Connect to your prescriber

We coordinate with your prescriber to help you access medication through a participating pharmacy. Your prescriber determines whether treatment is appropriate and issues the prescription. We handle the paperwork and follow-up.

3

Pay online. Delivery to your door.

Pay through the Wellspring portal, and we send your order to the pharmacy. Once the pharmacy reviews and accepts your prescription, it prepares your medication and ships it to your home. Follow order status and shipping updates through the portal.

4

Easy refills.

We arrange refills authorized by your clinician. If your clinician has prescribed a dose-change schedule, we plan upcoming orders around it and request updated approval when needed.
